The Millard County Commission on Oct. 25 approved a package of routine business items, including minutes corrections, a purchasing card for an extension educator and renewal of the county's National Association of Counties membership.
Commissioners voted to approve edits to the Sept. 16 minutes and to ratify internal budget transfers within the maintenance department. Caitlin Taylor, of USU Extension's East office, requested a purchasing card for Mary Anne Henke to buy supplies for classes and demonstrations; the commission approved a card with a $2,500 limit.
The commission also voted to renew the county's membership in the National Association of Counties after brief discussion about the value of national advocacy. Several small administrative motions โ including acceptance of maintenance-department repurposed funds and other procedural items โ were approved during the consent portion of the agenda.
No public objection was raised during these items and the votes were taken by voice. The actions were recorded on the meeting record.
