William Speegs of Speegs and Associates, representing Lucky LLC, presented a replat (EastChase Plat No. 1A) that shifts a southern lot line to enlarge the northern lot where a planned hotel will be built. The change increases the lot area to provide the parking required by the hotel’s square footage.
Speegs explained the driveway access will use an existing access drive constructed previously between Berryhill Road and EastChase Lane. The commission asked about the parking location relative to the building and the wedge-shaped parcel at the front; the presenter confirmed the pine/wedge shape is not part of the lot being altered.
A commissioner moved to approve the replat and another seconded; the transcript records the motion, the second and a unanimous vote in favor.
The approved replat will allow the hotel developer to proceed with site-specific design and parking layout as shown in the submitted plan; any additional site or building permits will follow standard development and permitting processes.
