The Maple Heights Board of Education on Oct. 13 approved Resolution 25‑103 authorizing the district to participate in a cooperative bus purchase run through the Ohio School Council. The resolution allows the district to use the council's spring bid rather than waiting for the fall or winter procurement cycle.
Superintendent Dela Flora told the board that the resolution authorizes participation in the cooperative bid but does not yet set a purchase price. "We don't have the prices yet," she said. If the board approves the resolution, district staff will work with the vendor awarded through the Ohio School Council and present specific pricing to the board for consideration.
Board members moved and seconded the resolution and approved it by roll call.
