Hawkes Prairie branch to move into new Lacey Education and Family Center; board seeks district briefing

Members agreed it would be appropriate to invite district or county representatives to a future meeting for an update on the center’s timeline, services and how the library’s presence will be arranged.
No formal action or funding request related to the move was made at the Oct. 16 meeting; the board requested staff assistance in arranging a presentation from the school district or project leads at a future meeting.
