RIVERSIDE, Ohio — The Riverside City Council on Monday, Oct. 6, 2025, held a first reading of a supplemental appropriation ordinance for third-quarter expenses and approved three resolutions, including an emergency repair authorizing work on the municipal building elevator.
The ordinance, Ordinance No. 25-0-871, was presented as a first reading to make supplemental appropriations for current expenses and other expenditures for the 2025 fiscal year; the council emphasized a second reading, public hearing and potential adoption will occur at the next meeting. Council also approved Resolution 25-R-3052, a donation to the Hometown Holiday event; Resolution 25-R-3053, an authorization to pursue Surface Transportation Program (STP) funding through the Miami Valley Regional Planning Commission (MBRPC) for a section of Spinning Road; and Resolution 25-R-3054, an emergency repair contract for the building elevator’s hydraulic jack.
