Ashwaubenon swears in new public safety officer Mason Marvin

At the Sept. 23 Village Board meeting the village administered the oath of office to Mason Marvin as a public safety officer.
According to remarks recorded at the meeting, Marvin joined the department in February 2024 as a paramedic to help fill staffing needs, then enrolled at the NWTC law enforcement academy in January 2025, graduated in spring 2025 and completed 12 weeks of field training. Village staff said Marvin has worked on shift since passing field training and described him as organized and dependable. Marvin’s mother, Krista, participated in the badge‑pinning ceremony.
The board and staff offered congratulations and welcomed Marvin to full duty.
