Councilwoman Lumen moved that the Rawlins City Council enter executive session at 8:46 a.m. on Sept. 26 to consider or receive information classified as confidential by law and to consider appointment, employment or dismissal of a public officer, professional person or employee, and to hear related complaints or charges when the person does not request a public hearing. She cited the council's authority under Wyoming statutory exceptions for executive-session discussion.
The motion was seconded; the clerk opened online voting and the council approved the motion (reported as "the motion passes with 7 ayes"). Council then stated microphones would be turned off and the live feed paused while the council proceeded offline for the executive session.
No final actions or votes from the executive session were announced in the public record at the time the transcript resumed.
