Brazos County Commissioners Court on Sept. 30 adopted Proclamation 25‑032 designating Oct. 5–11, 2025, as National 4‑H Week in Texas and recognized the county’s 4‑H council members in court.
Ashley (presenter) and several county 4‑H council members described the program’s focus on hands‑on learning across agriculture, STEM, healthy living and community service. The proclamation noted that Texas 4‑H (through Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service) serves more than 550,000 youth statewide and that Brazos County has over 720 active 4‑H members. The court moved, seconded and approved the proclamation by voice vote.
