The San Francisco Unified School District Board of Education reported that, following closed-session consideration of anticipated litigation, it gave direction to the district’s general counsel on three Office of Administrative Hearings matters. The board recorded the action in open session and identified the OAH case numbers on the public record.
The matters referenced in public session were: K.O. v. SFUSD (OAH case number 2025060285), C.C. v. SFUSD (OAH case number 2025070375), and D.C. v. SFUSD (OAH case number 2025060014). According to the board’s public statement, each matter was considered in closed session and, by roll-call vote, the board gave direction to the general counsel in all three matters.
President Kim announced the summary outcome in open session. Board members did not discuss the substance of the litigation in public because the matters had been handled as anticipated litigation in accordance with legal confidentiality rules. The board recorded that direction was given and moved on to the next agenda item.
