SFUSD board approves two stipulated expulsions for 2025–26 school year

The San Francisco Unified School District Board of Education approved two stipulated expulsion agreements for the 2025–26 academic year during its meeting. President Kim moved for approval of the first stipulated expulsion for a high school student (matter number 2025-2026-01) and the board voted to approve the agreement. The student will attend the Civic Center program during the expulsion period.

The board then approved a second stipulated expulsion agreement for a middle school student (matter number 2025-2026-02) covering the remainder of the fall 2025 and spring 2026 semesters. That second agreement includes suspended-expulsion status for the remainder of the expulsion period; during the suspended-expulsion period the student is to attend a comprehensive middle school from two school options provided by SFUSD.

Both measures were moved and seconded on the record and adopted in roll-call votes. Commissioners present recorded their votes individually during the roll call. The board described these items as stipulated agreements reached through the district process following closed-session review.
