Jackson County Commission approves participation in Alabama interlocal mutual aid agreement

Commissioners discussed the item briefly and then voted. The chair called for “all in favor” and the motion carried without recorded opposition.
The resolution aligns Jackson County with a statewide mechanism for reciprocal aid among local emergency management organizations and other public or private agencies, enabling sharing of personnel, equipment and other resources during emergencies.
