Shoreline manager issues fall storm reminders, announces roundabout simulator sessions and farmers market schedule

City Manager Mr. Ellington delivered the city manager's report at the Shoreline City Council meeting on Sept. 29, issuing seasonal reminders and announcing upcoming community events and meetings.
Ellington asked residents to keep neighborhood storm drains clear of leaves and debris, to rake leaves into yard waste bins and to keep gutters and downspouts clear. He said that if residents notice a storm drain or ditch backing up or flooding on a roadway they should call (206) 801-2700 and directed residents to shoreliney.gov/stormready for more information.
Ellington also announced roundabout simulator drop-in sessions through the end of the year, with the next session scheduled Monday, Oct. 6, from 5 p.m. to 6:45 p.m., before the regular council meeting. He encouraged residents to visit shorelinewah.gov/roundabouts for the full schedule.
On seasonal events, Ellington noted that the Shoreline Farmers Market season ends Oct. 25 and that the market runs at the Shoreline Park and Ride from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. He also listed upcoming public meetings: the Planning Commission on Oct. 2 (7 p.m. in the council chamber), the next council meeting on Oct. 6 (7 p.m.), and the Parks, Recreation, Cultural Services and Tree Board meeting on Oct. 23 (7 p.m.).
Ellington concluded the report by thanking the council and noting resources would be posted on the city's website.
