The West Covina Community and Senior Services Commission approved the July 8 meeting minutes, elected Commissioner Sherry Fisher as chair and Commissioner Gia Coupleon as vice chair, and appointed members to ad hoc subcommittees for the city's capital improvement projects (CIP) and the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding.
The actions were taken by voice vote with those present responding “aye.” Commissioner Gail Mason made the motions to approve the minutes and to nominate Gia Coupleon as vice chair; the motions were seconded and carried. A motion to appoint Sherry Fisher as chair also carried. The commission conducted the votes by voice and the chair called the motions carried.
