The Finance and Administration Council committee on Sept. 9, 2025, voted to forward Resolution 25,129 to the full City Council to accept additional professional fees for the Marion Barry Parkway multi-use trail project.
The resolution accepts a fee proposal from Pickering Firm Incorporated for $19,801 for trail design and $18,400 for lighting design. The resolution states funding for execution of the fee proposal will come from the capital improvement budget and that compensation will be paid in accordance with the proposal.
