The Live Oak Economic Development Corporation elected board officers for a two-year term ending June 30, 2027, at its Sept. 30 meeting.
Directors voted to reappoint Mary M. Dennis as board president. The board also approved Cynthia Adela as vice president, Paras Arora as secretary and Rod Streets as treasurer. Each position required a nomination, a second and a voice vote; the meeting record shows each nomination carried.
During the discussion the board chair described the procedure: each position required a motion, a second and a recorded aye vote. The board noted it had previously had a vacancy in the treasurer post; the directors filled that vacancy by nominating and approving Streets.

Officers will serve through June 30, 2027. The board continued with its agenda after the elections and staff provided brief announcements about upcoming community events and ribbon cuttings.
