Board approves conveyance of right-of-way at US 281 and Ancestral Trail to TxDOT

The Comal ISD Board of Trustees adopted a resolution Thursday authorizing the conveyance of a right-of-way parcel at the northeast corner of U.S. 281 and Ancestral Trail in Bulverde to the Texas Department of Transportation.
Trustee David Krasinski moved the resolution and the board president was authorized to execute conveyance documents; the resolution also granted authority to the superintendent to execute any additional documents necessary to complete the transaction and instructed the board secretary to attach a copy of the approved resolution to the official minutes.
The motion passed unanimously, 7-0.
Board discussion on the item was limited at the meeting; the resolution was carried in open session after the board returned from closed session involving real-property deliberations as permitted under the Texas Government Code.
