The Village of Jackson Board of Public Works on Sept. 30 approved several construction change orders and pay requests and recommended two letter-of-credit reductions for developer HomePath Financial to the Village Board and Budget & Finance committee.
The board voted to approve change order No. 3 for the 2025 Ridgeway Drive and Chestnut Court reconstruction project, an increase of $22,047.75, and approved pay request No. 5 for the same project in the amount of $388,971.85, both for advanced construction work and both forwarded to Budget & Finance and the Village Board for final approval. The board also approved two change orders and a pay request for the 2025 Hickory Lane reconstruction project with Vinton Construction: change order No. 1 for $39,952; change order No. 2 for $5,950 (with the meeting record noting additional material costs to follow); and pay request No. 3 for $479,393.34. Several of those Hickory Lane items were additionally referred to Budget & Finance and the Village Board for concurrence.
