Resident complains city code enforcement allowed neighbor to remove fence; asks for investigation

She said the removal has caused difficulty accessing her garage and that she is worried about property value impacts and harassment.
Council members directed staff to follow up. Mayor Graftstein asked Barb to provide her name, phone number and address privately so staff could investigate. A staff member acknowledged the complaint and said they would look into it and get back to the resident.
No formal council action was taken at the meeting; staff committed to investigate and report back to the resident.
