The application will preserve development rights while dedicating roughly 22.5 acres as contiguous open space; the commission attached conditions limiting access points and clarifying open-space protections. Motion passed (vote: majority present; Commissioner Burton recused on this item).
Gateway Estates (ZDA 2024-02): The commission also considered a ZDA for Gateway Estates (a prior preliminary approval and subsequent proposed development agreement for a larger subdivision). After discussion the commission approved the DA recommendation subject to conditions addressing road dedication (public vs. private), trail contributions and timing/phasing of final plats; that motion carried on a narrow vote.
