Staff presented the application, noting materials submitted included sign elevations and renderings showing a 6-foot-2-by-23-foot-7 banner on the South Grant facade and a 3-foot-8-by-52-foot-7 banner on the East Fulton facade. Keaton Christie, identified himself as the development associate on the project and told the commission the anticipated lease-up period was "around 9 months" and the applicant planned for a six- to nine-month display.
The commission asked the applicant about attachment details. Christie said the team was coordinating with construction to avoid damaging the building's siding, describing a plan to "vertical attachment to the top side of the roof" and a sealed tack strip at the bottom to avoid ripping siding. Commissioners raised no objections to the proposed fastening approach on the record.
A motion to approve the request passed by voice vote. Commissioners clarified that if the applicant needed the banners to remain longer than the approved period they would return to the commission for further authorization.
The commission recorded the action and closed the item.
