Linn County commissioners reviewed draft, revenue‑neutral budgets prepared by the Scott Lloyd Group for Linn County and four special districts and authorized the commission chair to sign the budget review forms.
The documents presented covered the Linn County general fund and draft budgets for Linn County Sewer District No. 1, Cemetery District No. 4, Cemetery District No. 1 and the rural fire district. Staff told commissioners the documents were drafted to be revenue neutral as requested and that the signature page certifies that commissioners reviewed the drafts.
A motion to allow the chair to sign the review and certification forms, updated to include the fifth (rural fire) budget, was moved, seconded and approved by oral vote.
Commissioners indicated they reviewed the documents in SharePoint and had no discrepancies to report; staff will obtain the chair’s signature on the final forms.
