Jason Weber, present for public works, described repeated leaks and failures at the AMR building and reported a supplier offer that reduced the projected cost from last year’s estimate of about $9,300 to roughly $5,743 after a county discount. Jesse Wallen said courthouse contractual funds, contingency and capital outlay budgets have available balances.
Commissioner [unnamed in transcript] moved to allow the purchase of the air conditioner and air handler in the amount of $5,743 to come out of courthouse contractual; the motion was seconded and carried with an oral aye vote.
Public works agreed to provide an invoice and complete the procurement promptly so the vendor’s price would be honored.
