Oxnard City staff on Monday asked the City Council to approve and authorize a $2,750,000 appropriation in fiscal year 2025-26 from the Water Operating Fund (Fund 601) and a corresponding transfer to the Water Capital Fund (Fund 602) to complete the automated meter infrastructure replacement project PW 1732.
The appropriation request was presented by Tim Beaman, assistant public works director. Beaman said the project is essentially complete and staff is in the closeout phase, and that the additional funds are required to fully fund remaining costs.
