Commission launches art-maintenance audit; staff to submit repairs via Englefix and public works

The city will accept maintenance requests through Englefix (englewoodco.gov/englefix) so Public Works can prioritize cleaning, rewraps or other repairs.
Staff said the deadline to complete the art-maintenance walk assignments is September so the commission can present results at its October meeting. For minor issues such as graffiti, Public Works or Parks can handle remediation; for major repairs staff said the artist would likely be contacted. Traffic-cabinet wraps that lack artist information will be flagged and mapped for follow-up.
A maintenance fund of approximately $15,000 was referenced as available for repairs and wrap work; staff noted the city sets aside a percentage of the annual allocation for maintenance. Staff said larger wrap projects may be scheduled in bulk (for example the wrap schedule planned for October) and that one-off fixes might be done sooner if an item is badly damaged.
Staff will resend links to the sign-up sheet and the audit form and will map cabinet-wraps that are missing attribution so Public Works and communications can coordinate rewraps and documentation.
