Practical items identified for the resource library included scaffolding and staging considerations (which increase project complexity and cost), sample fee ranges, sourcing materials, and mentorship or residency pathways to help emerging muralists meet technical requirements. Staff said they would circulate a mural-subcommittee project status update and bring an updated checklist and document organization back to the commission for review. A procedural reminder: items placed on the meeting agenda must be submitted by the Thursday prior to the meeting if commissioners want formal agenda consideration.
Commissioners also discussed broader engagement: connecting with local nonprofits and Second Saturday organizers, and reaching out to History Colorado or the Denver Latin American history museum for place-name research where appropriate. Staff said they will circulate follow-up materials, vendor/resource contacts and a proposed timeline for the next guideline review.
