Wilson County stormwater report accepted by state; ARP preconcept and grading work announced

County stormwater staff told board members that the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation accepted the county’s recent TDEC report and that related work under an American Rescue Plan (ARP) preconcept will move into grading next week.
James Bacon, delivering the stormwater report, said the state accepted the TDEC report and that the report had been completed 25 days before the meeting. He told the board the stormwater program had not received any public comments; the public-comment period remains open through the eighth and comments will be included in next year’s report. "We didn't receive any public comments, for our stormwater program. That will continue till the eighth, and that will be included in next year's report," Bacon said.
Bacon also said the county has a preconcept filing for an ARP project described in the meeting transcript as relating to the "Tennessee May biz," and that grading work for that project is scheduled to start next Tuesday. He said the project lies in District 18, which he identified as the district for Lauren Breeze.
The stormwater report was approved by a voice vote; board members said "aye" and no opposition was recorded. No roll-call tally was provided in the meeting record.
Bacon closed by asking if there were questions; none were recorded. The board then moved to adjourn.
