Stefan Cabara offered public comment during the Sept. 3, 2025, legislative delegation session, thanking the governor and delegation for local appropriations he says have supported GMC and local services.
“For the record, my name is Stefan Cabara,” he told the chair, and he expressed appreciation to the governor “for approving House Local Bill number 24‑20 Draft 1” and to members of the delegation for consistent funding when other sources were limited. “A big thank you for always thinking of GMC when funding is sufficient enough,” Cabara said, and he credited the support with helping GMC maintain 15 bus stops on Tinian and the Tinian Little League baseball field.
Cabara also voiced support for delegation matter number 24‑37 and urged the delegation to press the relevant bureau secretary to pursue a financial solution. He said if the bureau secretary cannot act, the delegation should consider addressing the issue through local law or public law.
The public‑comment period opened and closed during the session; no additional public commenters were recorded in the transcript. The record does not include documentary evidence of GMC’s budgetary needs or the specific relief requested under delegation matter 24‑37.
