District maintenance chief details summer construction, asbestos removals and repairs

The district’s director of maintenance reviewed dozens of completed and ongoing summer projects at schools across the county, telling trustees the maintenance team and contractors completed flooring, restroom and roofing repairs, asbestos remediation and other work to prepare sites for the new school year.
