The Golf Manor Village Finance Committee reviewed its August fiscal report on Sept. 15 and heard that the village had a combined bank balance of $3,640,078.39.
Committee members were told $101,848.74 of that total was in primary checking, $1,816,125.84 was held in the village's high‑interest savings account, and the remainder was in village‑designated funds. The village generated $100,353.79 in income tax receipts for the month; staff said receipts were roughly 19% higher than August of the previous year and about 9% higher year to date.
Bills received during the month totaled $230,372.43. Staff reported 26 outstanding payments totaling $96,649.98 (as stated in the report). The village's STAR Ohio fund earned $6,440.38 for the period and Fifth Third savings earned $6,187.31. Staff also noted that advances previously made to another fund totaling $78,500 were repaid to the general fund.
The committee reviewed appropriations and current spend: village general fund appropriations spent for the month were $280,883.28; staff said that number was comparable to the prior fiscal year. The report flagged several capital and operating items in progress, including the Vansel construction intersection paving and a walking path project.
Procedural motions on the agenda were recorded: the committee voted to excuse two absent members (Zach and Darren); it adopted the meeting agenda as posted and approved minutes from the Aug. 25 meeting. Committee members agreed to forward the financial report and related recommendations to the full council for consideration.
