Hawaiian Gardens library announces fall programming, resumes story time Friday

Irene, a library representative, thanked the council and residents on Aug. 27 for participation in the summer reading program and invited the community to fall activities.
“I want to just say thank you to everybody. We had a wonderful summer reading program at Hawaiian Gardens,” Irene said, and she noted that the library will resume story time at 10:30 a.m. on Friday and has posted a September calendar of events.
Irene encouraged residents to visit the library and to collaborate with the city on future programs and events. The remarks were made during the public comment and presentation portion of the council meeting; no council action was taken.
