The Azusa Unified School District Board of Education on Sept. 9 approved a third amendment to the purchase-and-sale agreement for the former Powell Elementary site, accepted the district's unaudited actuals for fiscal year 2024'25 and approved the consent agenda covering items 10.1 through 10.25.
The amendment to the agreement with Taylor Morrison of California LLC reduces the sale price to $31,200,000, moves the deadline for the first additional deposit to no later than Sept. 18, 2025, and raises the extension deposit to $450,000, according to the presentation at the meeting.
