Adriela Wagaman, speaking for property owners identified as the Lewis family, told the court the change "return[s] it to what the actual original zoning was and it should contribute to the quiet enjoyment of the neighborhood." Wagaman said neighbors were supportive after staff explained that the zoning would be uniform with adjacent parcels.
Commissioner Hertz moved to approve ordinance LC 25-19 to amend the zoning map from BG to AR; the motion carried on roll call, 6–0 (Commissioner Maston absent). Recorded votes were: Angel — yes; Hall — yes; Hertz — yes; Pepper — yes; Sweeney — yes; Scott — yes.
