Board accepts two grants totaling $86,775 and approves middle-school assistant football coach

The board accepted a Wyoming Department of Quality grant in the amount of $52,775 to be applied toward replacement of one school bus used for student transportation. A board member noted the district had used the same grant in a prior year and thanked Tracy (district staff) for securing the award.
The board also accepted an ExxonMobil STEM grant award in the amount of $34,000 for the 2025–26 school year. Board discussion was brief; the motion to accept the ExxonMobil award passed by voice vote.
Finally, the board voted to offer a contract to Talon Toman as Riverton Middle School assistant seventh-grade football coach for the 2025–26 school year. The board made the appointment by voice vote and recorded no opposition in the public minutes.
