Central Valley School Board approves $3.03 million payment, MOUs, contracts and multiple staffing actions at September meeting

At its September voting meeting, the Central Valley School Board approved confirmation of August payments totaling $3,026,663.46 to the general fund and several related routine financial and personnel items, including two memoranda of understanding with the Central Valley Education Association and multiple staffing and service agreements.

The board confirmed the August general fund payment of $3,026,663.46 and approved cafeteria fund payments of $7,632.77 and a construction fund payment of $22,800. The board also approved the August Berkheimer report (attachment e). The approvals were moved and seconded and carried on voice votes with no recorded dissents on the finance items.

The board approved two memoranda of understanding with the Central Valley Education Association (MOU Nos. 2025-001 and 2025-002) and authorized district officials to sign both agreements (attachments referenced by the agenda). The board also acknowledged updated procurement thresholds tied to the Consumer Price Index for calendar year 2025, as reflected on the agenda.
