Summary
The Planning Commission approved a 7,492-square-foot O'Reilly Auto Parts store at Charlotte Hall Commons, with the developer saying required traffic improvements and infrastructure have already been completed as part of a prior master traffic study.
The St. Mary's County Planning Commission on Sept. 22 approved concept site plan CSP25-0065 to allow a 7,492-square-foot O'Reilly Auto Parts store (use type 77) on a 1.25-acre lot at 29770 Charlotte Hall Commons Way in Charlotte Hall.
Staff presented findings that the proposed retail use is permitted in the site's TMX (town center mixed use) zoning district and complies with the Comprehensive Zoning Ordinance's site-plan, landscaping (15% minimum), parking and stormwater standards. Staff entered the report into the record as Exhibit 2.
