Hudson residents press board for slower, data-driven review as district weighs closing Holton and Willow elementaries
Summary
Dozens of parents, staff and residents urged the Hudson School District Board to delay decisions on closing elementary schools, citing concerns about class size, special-education services, transportation and incomplete data.

Several speakers pointed to Holton Elementary’s steady enrollment and relatively low operating cost and said closing it would “erode achievement, reputation and trust.”
