Applicant counsel Russell Brown and site acquisition representatives said Verizon Wireless will be the confirmed top tenant. The proposed compound is a 75‑by‑75 fenced enclosure with ground equipment; the applicant provided an engineer‑stamped fall‑zone letter showing the structure is designed to collapse within the parent parcel in extreme conditions. The applicant said no suitable collocation options existed within two miles to meet the capacity and coverage needs.
The board had no public opposition during the hearing and heard a brief discussion about inspection and FAA requirements. The approval included a requirement to provide FAA determinations and to proceed through the county's building‑permit inspection process before construction begins.
The motion to approve passed on unanimous roll call.
