Franklin SSD re‑elects existing board officers for 2025–26 school year

A board member nominated that the current slate be retained: Robert Blair as service chair, Lena Bell as vice chair, Robin Newman as treasurer and the nominator to continue as secretary. With no other nominations after the chair called for nominations three times, another member seconded the motion, the chair called for all in favor and members raised their hands. The chair announced the vote was unanimous and the slate will serve for the 2025–26 year.
The motion to reappoint the officers required a confirming vote after nomination; the board took that voice/hand vote and the chair declared the officers remain in place. No additional discussion or amendments to officer roles occurred.
This procedural action was taken at the beginning of the meeting and no formal roll‑call listing of individual votes was recorded; the chair announced the motion carried unanimously.
