The Town of Selma Planning Board voted unanimously to recommend that the Town Council approve an amendment to Article 5, Section 17-5-28 (Central Business District — CB — design standards) to remove a provision shown as item b2 and place it in a different section of the development code.
Planning staff told the board that item b2 “doesn't belong in the CB design standards because those uses aren't even allowed in CB,” and that the text was moved to a later part of the Unified Development Ordinance where those uses are permitted. Staff asked that the staff report and supporting documents be entered into the record.
Board members agreed the change is consistent with the Town of Selma Land Use Plan and moved to recommend the amendment to the Town Council as presented. The board recorded a unanimous aye vote to forward the recommendation.
