Commissioners and staff explained that the trustee’s decision is appealable through the auditor’s office and advised Lambdin to file an appeal form and speak with county auditor staff, including a suggested contact, Anita Freeman. County staff (Angie) said she would look into the matter and provide more information; commissioners noted the appeal could proceed even after the scheduled service.
No board action was taken during the meeting; staff provided guidance on the appeals process and agreed to assist with next steps.
