The millage rate is greater than the rollback rate of 7.3847 as calculated pursuant to section 200.0651 by 5.62%." She also reported adopted final expenditures of $111,214,370 and adopted reserves of $57,326,328, for a total adopted budget of $168,540,698.
The board opened the public hearing; no members of the public signed up to speak. After a second call for public comment produced no speakers, the board closed the hearing and moved to formal action.
Commissioner DeCarlo moved to adopt Resolution No. 2025-54, levying ad valorem taxes at the adopted millage; Commissioner Burrows seconded. The motion carried unanimously. Later the board moved to adopt Resolution No. 2025-55, the final fiscal year 2026 budget; that motion was made by Commissioner Sumner and seconded by Commissioner Burrows and also carried unanimously. The presiding officer announced, "Motion carries unanimously."
