Kiel council approves UTV purchase via grant and final payment for new engine apparatus

Staff said delivery of the engine is expected in October and a final inspection is scheduled for Sept. 22. The motion to authorize the final payment carried 6-0.
Both purchases were presented as previously-authorized budget or grant-funded items and the council recorded the votes and asked staff to proceed with payment and final inspections.
