A motion to approve the final assessment for the 2025 sidewalk replacement was made by Gil and seconded by Broker. The roll call recorded “Yes” votes from Gil, Broker and Judy; additional roll-call entries were unintelligible in the transcript.
Council members characterized the action as approving the final assessment and authorizing the mailing of notice to affected property owners. The council noted that once assessments are paid, the city expects to realize savings compared with the amount budgeted if the city had performed all work directly.
After the vote the council moved to notifications for a closed session.
