Board signs off on subscriber and joint powers agreements for criminal justice data access with clerical correction

The Wright County Board approved subscriber agreements and joint powers agreements to allow the sheriff's office and the county attorney's office continued access to criminal justice information systems maintained by the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension and court systems.

County Attorney Lutz characterized the action as a formality required every five years. He told the board the package included subscriber agreements for both the sheriff's office and the county attorney's office and a joint powers agreement for the sheriff's office and the county attorney's office. Lutz noted a clerical correction: the county attorney's office should appear as the agency representative on one subscriber agreement; the corrected document was provided to administration prior to the meeting.

The board voted to approve signatures on Resolution 2555 with the stated clerical corrections. Lutz said he would provide contact information to administration and forward signed agreements to the Minnesota Department of Public Safety. The vote to approve the resolution passed unanimously.
