Sutter LAFCO adopts countywide fire and EMS MSR, affirms existing spheres of influence

The Sutter Local Agency Formation Commission on Thursday adopted an amended municipal service review and sphere-of-influence update for fire and emergency medical service providers in Sutter County, affirming existing agency boundaries and approving recommendations for future study.

The commission approved the amended resolution and MSR by unanimous vote after presentations from staff and the consultant RSG, which prepared the MSR. The action affirms current spheres of influence for county service areas C, D, F and G, the cities of Live Oak and Yuba City, the Meridian and Robins Sutter Basin Fire Protection Districts, and other local providers. The resolution also incorporates revisions made after public comment and a second public circulation of the document.
