Ashwaubenon committee approves temporary outdoor liquor area for Title Town events

The Village of Ashwaubenon Public Works and Protection Committee on Sept. 2 approved an extension of the Class B combination beer and liquor license premises for Title Town to include the asphalt parking lot north of the business for special events.

Committee members voted to permit Title Town to use the lot for barricaded events 4 to 6 times per year. The committee recorded the motion, a second and a voice vote approving the extension; committee members did not provide a roll-call tally in the meeting transcript.

Committee members and staff said the proposed outdoor area is the same location Title Town has used for previous events. Staff said the plan is to barricade the space, and the public safety chief asked to be notified two weeks before any event so the chief can review and approve the specific plans.
