Sander indicated she intended an "every other month" meeting cadence for committee updates and proposed an initial committee life running through October 2027 to match an implementation window; she said the committee could be extended if work remained unfinished. Board members discussed the need for a clear process to solicit nominations from nominating districts and asked administration to work with Sander to refine the proposal in time for a formal vote next month.
No vote was taken; the matter will return to the board for action after additional administrative work to finalize membership, meeting cadence and formal notice procedures.
