The Lindbergh Schools Board of Education voted unanimously Tuesday to adopt the district's estimated tax rate for 2025 following a public hearing and a presentation from the district's finance office.
Board members voted 7-0 to approve the estimated tax rates after CFO Joe Scheibel presented the proposed figures and the board opened the floor for public comment during a prior tax rate hearing. Board members Julia (board member) moved to approve the rates; Jen (board member) seconded the motion.
The adoption followed the district's tax rate hearing earlier in the meeting, in which the CFO presented the estimated 2025 tax rates and members of the public were given an opportunity to address the board. No additional questions from board members were raised during the adoption vote.
The motion passed on a 7-0 tally. The board recorded the vote as "Motion passes seven-zero" in the meeting minutes and proceeded to the next agenda items.
The meeting packet and the prior tax rate hearing materials are on the district's board documents site, which the board referenced when moving from the hearing to the formal adoption vote.
