Hutchinson County commissioners approve routine agenda, opt into opioid settlement and sell struck-off tax property

HUTCHINSON COUNTY, Texas — The Hutchinson County Commissioners Court approved a slate of routine administrative items Tuesday, including court dates for 2026, several bond approvals, a contract with a regional auto-burglary unit and a decision to opt into a national opioid secondary manufacturer settlement. The court also approved sale of a struck-off tax property at 610 Green Oak for $500.

The actions were taken during a regular meeting that covered audit reports, appointments to the Hutchinson County Appraisal District board, sheriff and constable fee schedules for 2026, budget line-item transfers, and an update on American Rescue Plan (ARP) grant projects.
