How the board voted and next steps: Nearly all actions in the meeting were approved by motion, second and either unanimous “Aye” voice votes or voice votes with the board president calling for votes. Where individual tallies were spoken, the clerk recorded “All in favor. Aye.” A few routine minutes earlier in the meeting recorded one abstention for the Sept. 9 meeting minutes.
Ending: These decisions take effect as described in the individual employment agreements and resolutions; where further administrative steps are needed (for example, bid approvals, contract execution or filing of notices) the relevant staff will return to the board as required by district policy.
